How I can run Far Cry in my wine with Mac?
Well, I installed wine and the main work, I can use it from the terminal, so I downloaded Far Cry demo and ran the installer with wine, and did very well but then stopped the installation because it gave me a message about DirectX 9.0b. Now It I've read, Direct X does not work with Wine, Mac OS X, but something called OpenGL can run some games. Basically I want to know how I can get the game running. Also not really want to use another program such as a bond or parallel etc. Thanks in advance.
The first modern FPS games are very graphics intensive and sellers of these characteristics depend on all the layers of software and hardware to produce what you see. The last program that you never get to port with wine or any other emulator going to be something. If OpenGIS Mac OSX, most likely someone said that people who write native Mac games have graphics library library as OpenGIS possible. Not related to wine. I do not think that wine is able to emulate DirectX and I doubt that has been written OpenGIS DirectX link is fast enough to warrant the sentence immediately. You are mixing batteries.
